On January 11th, Wally Johnston, Co-founder and CFO of ECG, attended day seven of the Generation Fusion Pilot Program. We had a guest speaker, Dr. Iole Falorio, from SuperPower, Inc, a high-temperature superconducting wire manufacturer in Glenville, NY.
Our first cohort of Generation Fusion students were able to learn from and participate in demonstrations with an energy engineer working on high-temperature superconducting wire, a material that will be integral in commercial fusion machines.
Stay tuned for scenes from our pilot’s final gathering on February 18th with students, families, teachers, and local officials as we celebrate the climate hope that these young fusion students demonstrate!
